From Truck-Track to DriverTrack

Truck-Track launched as ELDT operations software: grading, time and attendance, payments, and one-click TPR reporting for CDL schools. As the product grew past trucking — Class B programs for school bus, transit, and refuse operators launch September 1, 2026 — the name needed to grow with it. DriverTrack is the same platform, the same team, and a bigger mission: full administration for every kind of driver training program.

We've done the compliance-wedge story before

DriverTrack is a Vision Companies product, alongside SchoolVision — and this is not our first time building a business on regulatory reporting. From 2009 to 2014, when 90/10 revenue reporting and Gainful Employment requirements reshaped proprietary education, our platform became the system of record for beauty and vocational schools across the country precisely because it made those reports defensible. Schools didn't buy software; they bought audit-proof numbers.

The Training Provider Registry and Workforce Pell's 70/70 requirements are the same story in a new vertical. That's why DriverTrack leads with the 70/70 Resource Center and a library written for school operators: the compliance conversation is where we've always lived.

What we believe

• One record beats three systems. Re-keying students between a compliance tracker, a billing tool, and an aid platform is where errors — and audit findings — come from.
• Information first, sales second. Most of what we publish is useful whether or not you ever buy anything from us. Cited to primary sources, updated when the rules move.
• Compliance is a moat, not a burden. The schools that survived the TPR enforcement wave are the ones that treated their records as an asset.
